Join us for a warm, welcoming afternoon of shared stories, lessons, laughter, and food from around the world!
The Multicultural Women’s Network invites you to our Cultural Potluck—a casual social event celebrating the rich cultural heritage and unique flavours that each of us brings to the table.
Whether you're preparing a family favourite, a traditional dish from your culture, or joining us to enjoy the vibrant variety of flavours, this is a space to connect, share, and celebrate diversity together.
No presentations, no pressure—just great company and great food.
🕒 Agenda:
11:30 AM – 11:45 AM | Arrival & Mingle
Guests arrive and mingle. Name tags will be provided.
11:45 AM – 12:15 PM | Opening Remarks
A brief welcome from the MWN core team to set the tone for the evening and highlight the importance of cultural connection and community.
12:15 PM – 1:00 PM | Potluck Lunch Begins
Guests are invited to explore the buffet of homemade dishes from different cultures. Informal introductions and sharing of stories behind the dishes are encouraged.
Open floor for anyone who wants to share a short story, tradition, or memory linked to their dish or cultural background.
Enjoy treats, relaxed conversation, and informal networking. Cultural music playlist in the background to keep the atmosphere festive.
1:00 PM | Closing & Thank You
Final words of appreciation, shout-outs for standout dishes or stories, and information about upcoming Multicultural Women’s Network events.
🍴 What to Bring:
A dish that represents your culture or family tradition (you will be provided a small card to mention the name, origin, and ingredients)
A sense of curiosity, community, and joy!
Note: Vegetarian, Vegan and allergen-friendly options are also encouraged. Please label dishes accordingly.
