In 2024, the "ICH 100+ " Innovative Sports Design initiative was jointly launched by the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts (SAFA) and Warrior Footwear Co. Ltd, under the framework of university-enterprise strategic cooperation.
In response to national policies and against the backdrop of the inheritance and activation of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), the project deepens the integration of industry and education. It fully leverages the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts' research capabilities and domestic & international influence in cultural inheritance and art design, as well as the advantageous resources of Warrior — a well-known national sports and trend brand— to jointly contribute Shanghai's strength to the protection and development of China's intangible cultural heritage.
