Cultural Safety and Inclusion for Jewish Artists’ workshops
Event description
The Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation (Monash University) has launched a new project: the Monash Initiative for Rapid Research into Antisemitism (MIRRA) and is partnering with The Centre of Jewish Artists (COJA) to investigate antisemitism in Australia’s cultural and creative industries.
By capturing the voices of the Jewish creative community, the MIRRA project explores how the creative and arts landscape has been shaped by antisemitism in recent months. As home of Australia’s Jewish artists and creatives, we want to make sure that the voices of independent artists are heard. We invite COJA members to participate in a group workshop to explore our experiences of antisemitism in our professional lives as creatives and artists.
