Cultural Site Identification Training
Description
What to Expect:
Day 1: Focuses on theory and instruction on using the Aboriginal Heritage Information Management System (AHIMS). You'll learn to navigate this database containing information on over 100,000 registered sites of First Nations culture and heritage significance across NSW.
Day 2: We'll venture out on Country for hands-on experience in site registration. Participants will apply their knowledge to identify, record, and register First Nations cultural sites under expert guidance.
Please Note: Catering will be provided on both days, day 2 wear enclosed shoes, long pants, hat and bring water.
