We are delighted to invite you to an important event in the life of Cumberland local area.
We are inviting community members and candidates to participate in a community forum on Wed evening November10th,
6:45pm for 7pm-8:30pm. The venue will be on Zoom
Who are we?
The Sydney Alliance in Cumberland consists of leaders from religious and community groups who have come together around issues of the common good in the Cumberland Local Government Area. We are non-partisan and passionate about working together for the common good.
We seek a positive relationship with those elected to represent our communities. One built on trust, cooperation and accountability.
Since March 2020, our leaders have been listening deeply within our communities and are keen to find realistic, concrete solutions to the emerging issues in our area, including;
- Practical support for community engagement and multiculturalism in our community,
- Provision of affordable housing,
- Concern for the most vulnerable in our community including international students and people seeking asylum.
