Cumulonimbus Quartet - Jazz at St Michael's Church

Hayden Hockly's Cumulonimbus Quartet is defined by ensemble interplay and lush lyricism, tasty arrangements and swinging grooves. Their distinct blend of classic jazz and contemporary sensibilities enchanted the audience at their sold out performance at last years festival.

2026 is St Michael's third year as host for the Jazz Festival and has a growing reputation in Wellington as one of the loveliest places to play music. The incredible acoustics paired with high ceilings and stained glass and seating for 90 makes it an intimate space for small group jazz.
