Make your cupcakes a masterpiece
Move beyond the simple chocolate icing to discover buttercream piping. Your cupcakes can look like store bought with these tricks using a piping bag.
In addition to cupcake decorating, Rufaida will give you a demonstration of macaroon painting and share her secret choc chip cookie and shortbread recipes. Absolutely delicious!
**The fist 30 participants to register will be sent a FREE cupcake kit (to use in the workshop) including:
- Vanilla cupcake mix
- Pipping bag
- Variety of piping nozzles
- food colouring

Rufaida loves to bake and decorate. She has been experimenting in the kitchen for years to develop her refined recipes. During COVID-19, Rufaida has been decorating cupcakes with her teenage daughter who also loves to bake. Rufaida wants to share her passion with students across Australia and show how food and art can become one!
Workshop requirements:
A stand mixer or a hand mixer
A stove with a pan and a heatproof bowl
2 piping bags (preferably disposable ones)
Spatula
Whisk
10 to 12 cupcakes (can be store bought, packet mix or cooked from scratch and left to cool)
ICING:
350gm butter softened (unsalted)
1.5 cups Castor sugar or confectioners sugar
150gm Egg whites (egg white carton can be bought or egg whites can be separated manually from yolks)
Food dye
Optional: Sprinkles, grated chocolate, edible love hearts or balls, berries- whatever you like to decorate!
