CURATE x BLUES AT BRIDGETOWN

Young creatives - want to sell your stuff at Blues?

We’re giving 8 young creatives the chance to have their work for sale at our Curate stall at Blues at Bridgetown on Saturday 14 November.

If you make art, jewellery, prints, ceramics, textiles, crochet, accessories, handmade goods or other creative things, we’d love to hear from you.

Each selected creative will get space to fill approximately half a metre of table with their products.

Aged 12 - 25 years
Live within the Warren-Blackwood Region (inc Bridgetown, Manjimup, Boyup Brook, Greenbushes)
15% commission on sales
You’ll need to be available for a 2-hour shift sometime during the event (approximately 8am–6pm)

Blackwood Youth Action (BYA) was established in 2013 by a committed group of community members concerned about the wellbeing of young people in the Blackwood region, particularly those who are marginalised or at risk. The group was formally incorporated in 2015, and since then has worked closely with young people aged 12–25, local service providers in health, education and community services, and the wider community.

Through consultation and collaboration, BYA identified key gaps and opportunities to improve the health and wellbeing of young people in the region. Today, we continue this mission by providing events, programs, and workshops for young people aged 12–25, creating safe spaces for connection, growth, and learning.

Our Priorities

Provide opportunities for young people to reach their full potential through education, training, and community support.
Strengthen relationships, understanding, and shared experiences between young people and the communities in which they live.
Work with marginalised young people and local services to improve opportunities that meet their social, emotional, psychological, and physical needs.
Engage with and advocate for marginalised and at-risk youth in the Warren Blackwood.
