Imagine walking into a room where textured hair is understood.
A room where you can ask the questions you actually have about refreshing, hydration, frizz, products, styling and caring for your hair between wash days.
Curls Connection: Textured & Seen is a relaxed, practical morning created to help you better understand your hair and feel more confident caring for it.
This edition puts a special focus on tighter curls, while welcoming anyone who wants to better understand textured hair, including parents, carers, friends and family.
We’ll talk through some of the things people struggle with most, including:
-How to refresh between wash days
-Hydration and product application
-Frizz, definition and what your hair may actually need
-Styling techniques and live demonstrations
-Common myths around textured hair
-How to build more confidence caring for your own hair at home
You’ll also have the chance to ask your own questions, see techniques demonstrated in real time and understand the why behind what I’m doing.
You’ll also go home with a Clever Curl goodie bag, plus there’ll be prizes and giveaways on the day.
But Curls Connection is about more than hair.
It’s also about creating a space where people with textured hair feel seen, understood and represented and where parents, carers and loved ones can learn how to better support the people they care about.
You don’t need to have the same hair texture to belong in the room.
Come as you are. Bring your questions. Leave feeling more informed, more confident and more connected to your hair.

- Is it for me?
This session is for people with tightly textured hair as well as parents and carers who want to understand it better. It's not a hairdressing class
- Can I bring a young child
Young people aged 10 and over are welcome when the session is relevant to their own hair
The adult plus young person ticket includes one young person per adult.
- Do I need to bring anything?
No, just yourself and your curiousity and questions.
- Where do ticket proceeds go?
