Curramore Forest Walk with Susie Duncan

Price $20 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

Educational forest walk with Hinterland Bush Links' founder, Susie Duncan. Meet at the western end of the carpark behind Maleny IGA at 8.30am, or email Louise to arrange meet up at Curramore if more convenient. We will return to Maleny about 3pm.

This interactive walk is approximately 7km with moderate hills and a short side-walk over large rocks to a waterfall. Our ecological walk will take us through eucalypt forests and rainforest and we will visit a site where the endangered Glossy Black-Cockatoo has been encountered feeding on Sheoak seed. There will be time along the walk to ask questions and share knowledge about the flora and fauna we pass through. We will also enjoy excellent views across a forested catchment to the Conondale Range.

Bring your lunch, water and binoculars if you have them. Be sun-safe and wear good walking boots.

Places are limited to 15 people so don’t miss out. All proceeds from this event will go to the Hinterland Bush Links Environmental Gift Fund to fund our projects and programs.

Contact Louise via email info@hinterlandbushlinks.org for further information.
