Currency House Convention
Event description
The global forces that are transforming our world are rewriting the rulebooks on politics, economics and the environment. Perhaps the most profound change to emerge from this process of ‘creative destruction’ for Australians is the new federal government’s promise to implement the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
At the second annual Currency House Creative Convention Sally Scales, Eddie Synot and Rachael Maza will consider a second major proposal from the government: a National Cultural Policy that places ‘First Nations first’, and discuss how the Uluru Statement from the Heart should inform its development.
The keynote speeches will be followed by a general discussion mediated by Liza-Mare Syron.
