Curriculum Alignment Mapping Workshop and Q&A with Susan Feez

As part of MSCA’s Curriculum Alignment Mapping Project, contributors are invited to join this online workshop and Q&A with Dr Susan Feez.

The Curriculum Alignment Mapping Project is a national initiative linking Montessori curriculum with the Australian Curriculum (Version 9.0) achievement standards from Foundation to Year 10, helping schools and centres clearly demonstrate how Montessori practice delivers Australian Curriculum outcomes.

During this session, Dr Feez will provide guidance to support contributors as they review their allocated curriculum area and provide feedback on the mapping document. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and clarify aspects of the review and alignment process.

Meet Your Host

Dr Susan Feez

Dr Susan Feez is an Associate Professor in the School of Education at the University of New England, specialising in English language and literacy education, educational linguistics and Montessori education.

Susan holds a PhD in Montessori education and AMI Diplomas in both Montessori Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Her research interests include language and literacy development, curriculum knowledge, literacy demands across the curriculum, and Montessori education.

With extensive experience spanning education, linguistics and Montessori pedagogy, Susan brings valuable expertise to MSCA’s Curriculum Alignment Mapping project, supporting educators to connect Montessori curriculum with Australian Curriculum achievement standards.
