Event description

Overview

Young Change Agents programs are linked to the Australian Curriculum. Where the programs are developing knowledge and understanding and/or skills, these are mapped against the content descriptors for the appropriate learning area. Further, all Young Change Agents programs are designed to develop a student’s general capabilities and this is documented for each program. Where Young Change Agent programs focus knowledge and understanding of cross-curriculum priorities of Sustainability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures and Asia and Australia's Engagement with Asia, these are also documented. We will discuss how to use these documents to integrate with assessment and evidence based tasks.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, you will know how to  explore the Entrepreneurial Learning Hub, the Young Change Agents Digital platform to navigate to curriculum linking documents relevant to your programs. You will also understand the curriculum linking of programs in relation to learning areas, general capabilities, and cross-curriculum priorities.

Minimum Numbers

This session requires a minimum of 5 participants to run. If we received less than 5 registrations we will cancel the session and provide a refund.
