Cutting Edge: A gala dinner exploring the Fabric of Science and Artisanal Design, presented by Fashion Queensland

Join Fashion Queensland for a very special gala dinner and showcase of cutting edge fashion by five extraordinary Brisbane and Queensland designers. 

Designers George Wu, Kiara and Bianca Bulley (Bulley Bulley), Briana Enoch (Jarawee), Joshua Djordjewitsch (Djordjewitsch) and Joash Teo (Joteo) will each present a one-off custom design inspired by art and science. 

In partnership with the Institute for Molecular Bioscience, our designers visited researchers to inspire their creations, which our audience will enjoy over a two course dinner, panel discussion and conversation with designers and researchers alike - a meeting of minds between leading creatives in their respective fields.

Cutting Edge is the culmination of months of work, years of research, and is a celebration of emergent discoveries and artisanal craft. 

Guests will be treated to a two course dinner and three hour premium beverage package in a spectacularly immersive setting at the iconic whale mall of Queensland Museum Kurilpa.
