Cyber resilience is the ability to adapt to and recover from disruptions caused by cyber incidents while keeping essential operations running smoothly. It involves detecting, managing, and recovering from cyber threats to minimise impact. The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) emphasises that strong cyber resilience practices—such as regular health checks, board engagement, and adaptable response strategies—are essential for organisations to operate securely in today’s complex digital landscape.
Innovation Central Canberra (ICC) is hosting an engaging seminar on cyber resilience, featuring insightful talks from leading experts Dr. Shari Finner from TNO, Dr. Tim Lynar from UNSW Canberra, Associate Prof. Abu Barkat Ullah, and Prof. Frank den Hartog from UC. This seminar will delve into the latest innovations in cybersecurity, offering valuable perspectives on strengthening cyber resilience in today’s digital landscape. The event is primarily aimed at UC colleagues but is open to Canberra's broader cyber community, providing an excellent platform for networking and knowledge exchange among professionals, HDR students, and industry stakeholders. Don’t miss the chance to engage with thought leaders and enhance your understanding of the rapidly evolving cybersecurity field.
