Ken has been leading the IBM business at MBS for over 15 years and has extensive business & channel management experience.  A channel veteran with over 30 years working across the whole channel; as a Vendor, a Value Add Distributor, and a SI / Reseller his extensive background allows him to bring personal experience to his dealings with Business Partners. Not only a veteran of the channel, but he also has over 20 years of experience in the IT sector both in Australia as well as the Asia Pacific, his roles have ranged from Business Development to General Management, which makes him a valuable asset for start-ups and scale-ups at multiple levels.

Dr. Pedram Hayati, Founder, SecDim

Dr. Pedram Hayati is a security researcher who strives to close the knowledge gap among security and software practitioners. He has performed hundreds of security audits for Fortune 500, published over 25 zero-days, reported thousands of security vulnerabilities, and led a global penetration testing team. His experience is backed by PhD in Information Security. Currently, Pedram has put his passion in building SecDim, a software security education company, where he and his team build the most accessible, comprehensive, and open training content for addressing security vulnerabilities in modern apps/dApps. Aside from SecDim, he lectures an advanced cyber security master course at UNSW (Australian Defence Force Academy) and is the founder of SecTalks.org, the largest non-profit multinational technical security community. He has spoken at a number of top security conferences namely HITB Netherlands, BSides, and AusCyber. His research on cloud security and honeypots have received global media coverage in The Register, Computer Security, and Insecure Magazine

Chris Hockings, CTO, IBM Security Asia Pacific

Chris Hockings is responsible for representing the IBM global security strategy and vision to the geography, and in doing so engages with leaders across government, industry, and partnerships. Chris is an expert in leading transformational security programs on emerging technology. He has a passion for ensuring clients are aware of global trends so they can leverage them to develop programs that counter threats, deliver compliance, and support digital transformation. Chris has been a leader across all facets of software, including global research and development, support, service, and market engagement. He is an IBM Master Inventor, a title that reflects a sustained contribution to IBM Security's patent portfolio. Chris is also a certified information system security professional (CISSP).


    The main panel session will run for 60 minutes which you will have the opportunity to ask questions of the panelists. This will be followed by networking, drinks, and light food.
