Cyber Wei Qi Workshop

Join us for a unique and engaging Cyber Go Workshop at Fremantle Library – a free community event designed especially for children and young people to build cyber awareness through the ancient and strategic game of Wei Qi (Go). This hands-on workshop blends cultural learning with practical digital safety, offering a fun and inclusive environment for participants to develop critical thinking, confidence, and online resilience.

Led by two inspiring facilitators – Dr Silvia Lozeva, a systems thinking expert and Go strategist, and Jawaira Mahmood, a passionate cyber literacy advocate – the session explores how the timeless principles of Wei Qi can help us make smarter, safer decisions in our digital lives. 

The workshop is suitable for all levels and skills - no previous experience necessary.
