The CYCA Youth Sailing Academy is proud to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.
Since 1993, the YSA has developed into one of the world’s leading full-time youth sailing academies, with more than 500 graduates who have gone on to compete at major events around the world, including the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, Olympic Games, America’s Cup, SailGP, Volvo Ocean Race and World Match Racing Tour.
Over the years, the Youth Sailing Academy has also provided scores of young girls and boys the opportunity to either learn the basics or to help make the successful transition from dinghies to keelboat sailing. Through its holiday camps, school and community programs, the YSA has nurtured them, brought families together and ignited the passion for our sport in so many individuals, many who still participate today and are proud Members of our Club.
Join us in celebrating our Youth Sailing Academy’s 30th Anniversary and help raise funds for our world-leading training organisation.
Guest speakers will include John Bertrand AO and John Winning Jr. and we will be joined by the Academy's alumni.
There will be a number of live and silent auctions held on the night for a range of items and money can't buy experiences.
