Description
Family Community Dinners are about bringing the villagers (you!) together to build a village. We know that around the world everyone is sharing the collective feeling of loneliness; at Early Support for Parents we also understand that building a village that provides support, knowledge and connectiveness takes work from all us.
We facilitate a space where a warm and nourishing meal is provided, and we can discuss any topical parenting issues identified by you, building shared understanding and connection in the process.
There are activities for the kids, and conversations for the adults. This is not only for people with little children, families with teenagers are encouraged to come and bring their teenagers too!
FAQs
- I have dietary requirements; will this be suitable for me?
Yes, we cater to dietary requirements - please notify us of these at the time of booking ticket in the checkout questions.
- Is the $10 ticket for my whole family, or do we need one each?
The $10 ticket is for those in your immediate family; so if you're a single parent with one child, or two parents and 4 children it covers your whole family. If you would like Nan and Pop, or Grandma, or aunties and uncles please make sure they book their own ticket.
The fee is small for a two course meal and we are not for profit, this helps us cover some of the costs. - What age childen in the families is this for?
All ages! Parenting doesn't so much as get easier, as the challenges and difficult moments look different.
Please bring your newborns through to your 18 year olds along - children builidng communities and diversifying from their school groups is important for their wellbeing too.
