Event description

This 4-hour, immersive workshop explores sound, resonance, and vibration as sources for movement and embodied awareness.

About the Practice
Cymatic Body Research is a meditative practice exploring the use of sound, resonance, and vibration as source material for movement impulse. This physical practice is shaped by internal signals and vibrations, creating space for sensation and feedback.

A guided meditative methodology and somatic foundation for mapping the internal body. In this practice, we generate tone and frequency to track the subtle body which activates aspects of ourselves that exist at the very margins of what is; Otherness. Body becomes an expansive and permeable ocean of information.

Using vibration as sonic doorways to examine body as an ancestral/future/present storage system. Body becomes flooded, reshaped, reorganised, re-realised, reimagined and restored.

🔵 Open class, suitable for all levels
