- Who's organising this?
Hi, I'm Stephen Collins. I am a TTRPG player and GM since 1980 across many systems. I presently run an online campaign set on Faerûn with players in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Bermagui.
I am into deep character detail and storytelling and try to encourage in-character role-play where players are comfortable doing so.
I run a consistent game as an enthusiastic and experienced GM with a strong belief in professional ethics as well as creating a welcoming environment for female players, queer players, trans players, and neurodivergent players.
- Is this event good for new players?
Absolutely! We will be playing a new player-friendly adventure with pregenerated characters. The DMs have many years of experience and are used to supporting new players to enjoy the game.
- I've played before, can I bring my own character?
Sure! Just make sure it's built to the 2024/5.5e rules.
- What should I bring?
Just yourself, your imagination, and a willingness to cooperate with others to solve problems and respond to challenges! Pre-made characters, stationery, dice, and other materials are all provided.
- Is this event women/femme and LGBTQIA+ friendly?
We will always be a safe space for women and femme-identifying players, as well as all LGBTQIA+ players.
- Is this event suitable for people with a disability?
If you can make yourself understood by others at the table, you will be just fine. If you need a support person, bring them along.
- Are under-18s welcome?
This event is targeted at adult players, but we will always welcome players 15 and over accompanied by an adult.
- What about psychosocial safety?
At the beginning of the session, we will discuss our boundaries. You will also be invited to anonymously submit anything you do not want to experience in the game.
Absolute lines that will not be tolerated are TRASH (transphobia, racism, ableism, sexism, and homophobia); cold-blooded homicide committed by PCs; torture committed by PCs; slavery.
