Dacha Jam: Audition Sanctuary

Come shake off the rust, reconnect with why you love performing, and build up some confidence and warmth for UGAs coming up at the end of February with Kate Drummond!

This body-and-soul workshop will include group generation/devising exercises, lots of full-body movement and music, and some playful mindfulness time. While not technically a structural audition prep workshop, participants should expect some sneaky energy prep.

Kate Drummond is a co-Artistic Director and founder of Dacha Theatre, and has been creating and directing devised, playful, and immersive work in Seattle since 2016. She is a third-year MFA candidate in Directing at the University of Washington, and has worked locally as an intimacy choreographer and teaching artist with Pacific Northwest Theatrical Intimacy, Seattle Rep’s Public Works, and the 5th Avenue’s Rising Star Project, among others.
