Dadirri ~ Women's Weekend
Description
Dadirri ~ A Women’s Weekend
Where: Marramarra National Park
When: November 20–22
This weekend is about creating space to return to the simple things in life: nature, connection, community, laughter and bloody good food.
Rather than following a tight schedule, we’ll embody the principles of Dadirri by listening to what we need, when we need it, and simply going with our own individual flow.
There will be options to explore the stunning scenery of Marramarra National Park, swim in the creeks, hang out in the sun, do some yoga, create art or whatever else you feel called to do.
I’m pretty happy to take requests too! Whether that’s a yoga practice, some shamanic work, learning something new, or simply having the space to do absolutely nothing.
It feels really important to me to come together in community, without needing to have everything planned or figured out, and let the rest flow as it needs to.
Now, let’s talk about the food.
If you know me, you know food is life!
I’ll be in the kitchen serving you a seasonal, regional, Ayurvedic-inspired menu. There’ll be plenty of space to come and hang out in the kitchen with me if you’d like to learn some of the recipes.
And I’ll give you all the recipes to take home too.
The place
Based just 500m from Marramarra National Park (approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney and 2.15 hours from Newcastle), the property has stunning mountain views and lots of space to chill, both inside and out.
It’s rustic, with lots of character and plenty of quirky little extras.
There’s even a swimming hole about a 5-minute walk on the property, which will be epic to cool off in on hot days.
Hurray!
There’s a hammock to chill in, a lovely lotus pond and other activities ( ping pong, trampoline etc if you feel called! )
