Dads Tuning in to Kids™

A seven-session group program for fathers of children aged 3–12 years.

Would you like to learn practical ways to help your child understand and manage feelings such as worry, frustration and anger?

Dads Tuning in to Kids™ helps fathers develop skills to support their children’s emotional intelligence, strengthen relationships and respond to emotions in positive and supportive ways.

The program explores practical strategies that can help children:

• improve focus and concentration

• build stronger friendships

• manage conflict with peers

• calm down when upset or angry.

When: Thursdays, 15 October – 26 November 2026

Time: 3.30–5.30pm

Duration: 7 weeks

Where: Marymead CatholicCare, 255 Goyder Street, Narrabundah ACT

Cost: Free

Who can attend?

This program is for fathers of children aged 3–12 years who would like to build their skills and confidence in supporting their child’s emotional development.
