👟 Whether you’re sprinting like the wind, strolling with friends, wheeling along, or pushing a pram, this event is all about moving together and making memories. Start the course wearing a plain white tee and finish looking like a living rainbow, thanks to our safe, biodegradable colour explosions at every turn!

🎈 With over 2,000 participants expected, the vibes will be electric, the smiles contagious, and the colour clouds spectacular. Our fully accessible course means everyone can join in the fun.

🛑 Health & Safety Disclaimer

 By registering for and participating in the Daffodil Day Colour Run at Mitre10 Park on 1st November 2026, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. General Participation

   • Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

   • All participants must be in suitable physical condition to complete a short fun run with light obstacles and colour zones.

   • A parent or guardian must accompany children under the age of 13.

2. Health Conditions

   • You confirm that you do not suffer from any medical condition that could be aggravated by physical activity or coloured powder exposure.

   • If you have asthma, allergies, or other sensitivities, please bring appropriate medication and take extra precautions.

3. Colour Powder

   • The colour powder used is non-toxic, biodegradable, and made from cornstarch. While safe, avoid inhalation and eye contact. Sunglasses or goggles are recommended.

   • Participants with respiratory or skin sensitivities should take caution or consult a medical professional before participating.

4. Obstacles

   • The obstacle course is designed to be achievable and fun for all ages. You may bypass any obstacle you are not comfortable with.

   • Appropriate closed-toe footwear must be worn.

5. Photography & Media

   • By entering the event, you consent to the use of your image in photos and videos taken on the day for event promotion and media. Photographs will be taken by Duncan Brown Photography.

6. Liability Waiver

   • The Daffodil Day Colour Run's organisers, volunteers, and sponsors accept no responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur before, during, or after the event.

   • Participants are responsible for their safety and the safety of those under their care.

7. Event Conduct

   • All participants are expected to act respectfully toward others, follow the instructions of marshals and event staff, and adhere to the course and safety guidelines.

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

   • All registration fees are non-refundable.

   • If you are unable to attend the event for any reason, your registration will be considered a donation to the Cancer Society Hawke's Bay Centre.

   • In the event of cancellation due to extreme weather or other unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to reschedule; however, no refunds will be issued.
