PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP with Vincent Rodriguez III

Saturday June 10th

Join us for a special series of masterclasses led by television, theater and voiceover star, Vincent Rodriguez III! We're welcoming dancers, actors and singers ages 12 and up to attend this one-day-only series of workshops geared towards perfecting your dance and auditioning skills.
DANCE WORKSHOP
From 2:00pm- 3:45pm, dancers 12 and up are invited to participate in a dynamic dance and choreography workshop centering on learning & performing original choreography from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s Gene Kelly inspired dance number, “Head in Clouds” choreographed by Kathryn Burns & Vince. The workshop will be followed by a Q&A session with Vincent for all participants.

AUDITION WORKSHOP From 4:00pm-6:00pm, up to 10 lucky participants will workshop a piece of music or a brief monologue with Vincent in preparation for a stellar audition. Workshop your monologue, song and general presentation with an expert, while supported and encouraged by your peers.
For this workshop, please come prepared with a short monologue between (1-2 mins only) or a short song (24-36 bars or 1-2 mins only). An accompanist will be present.

More about Vincent Rodriguez III: 

Vincent Rodriguez III is a Filipino-American actor best known for playing Josh Chan in “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (CW/Netflix). He currently stars as Henry Cruz on “With Love” (Prime Video), new season premieres June 2nd. You can also hear him in the animated movie musical "Arlo the Alligator Boy" as Ansel Beauregard (Netflix) and season 2 of “The Ghost and Molly McGee” as Jeff (Disney Channel).

Prior to moving to Los Angeles, Vincent was a stage actor in New York City for 11 years, performing internationally in first national tours, regional theater, and Off-Broadway. Throughout his career, Vincent has taken time in-between performances to teach at dance studios, high schools, colleges, and performing arts programs. His classes range from workshops to masterclasses, covering audition technique, song interpretation, Broadway dance repertoire, on-camera auditions, mock auditions (singing, dancing, or acting), specific choreography, and more. He is a passionate, enthusiastic, nurturing, and motivating teacher; focused on empowering his students and leaving them with the tools and techniques for them to reach their personal best and compete in the competitive job market of show business.
