Dancing Dhevas invite you to go a little deeper into your dance, to not only dance like no one is watching but to dance into your soul, let your internal experience guide your external expression. Drop the performance, drop the ego, quieten the inner critic and dance your dance with verve and abandon.
Free form dancing brings embodiment, exercise, balances hormones and burns cortisol (stress) as well as deepening your breathing and improving the immune. What's not to like!

Moving together in community brings solidarity and grows empathy, compassion and love. When we dance we can not hate.
No right or wrong and no set moves, open up to a world of possibilities beyond your imagination, with friends on the dance floor and great music.

The Dancing Dhevas community is a group dedicated to dancing with passion and authenticity, there is no talking and yet so much is communicated on dance floor. Dance your dance as no one else can do it for you.

Please bring a water bottle, put away phones and shoes before entering the dance floor.

No shoes, we dance bare foot to ground and connect with the earth, freeing your feet will free the body as well as the mind.

No talking on the dance floor, the space becomes safe to express and feel into your dance when the mind pauses the need to communicate through words. Keep the space safe for each other.

NEW TO DANCING DHEVAS...

The ecstatic dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.

We have been teaching Conscious dance in WA for 14 years, trained in various modalities and taught numerous classes, workshops and retreats. The essence never changes, the purity and simplicity humbles us each time we step onto the dance floor and we are ever grateful to the community around us and the earth that holds us.
