DANGER: DIABOLIK - a sexy pulpy 1960s crime caper
Event description
Forget your MCUs and DCs - this is the original and the best comic book movie!
"Danger: Diabolik" is a gorgeous crime caper, where devil-may-care superthieves DIABOLIK and EVA KANT romp around 1960s Italy, outwitting the Police and rival criminals in one audacious (and, quite frankly bizarre) criminal escapade after another. Clad in a skintight bodysuit and mask, and driving his trademark JAGUAR, DIABOLIK is the original international man of mystery.
This psychedelic, fantastical piece of pulp fiction has inspired everything from Austin Powers to the Beastie Boys "Body Movin'" music video. From electric sex beds to airplane trapdoors, castle emerald robberies, and psychadelic underground lairs, this movie is a nonstop ride of thrills and sweaty sensuality - as our supermodel stars steam up the screen everytime they have a successful escapade.
Directed with style and flare by renown Italian horror maestro Mario Bava (but don't worry, the only chills in this movie are the ice cubes in Eva's Campari), and with a classic, stylish soundtrack from Ennio Morricone, DANGER: DIABOLIK is sexy, funny, camp and cool. But is it Rad, Bad or Mad? Only you can decide when you join us on Saturday 12th October!
