Event description

In this workshop we will enter into the world of romantic suspense (or romcrime) where both sheets and plots are twisting at the same time!

This workshop is designed for writers at all stages with a particular interest in mastering the art of romantic suspense (but the workshop material can be adapted for multiple genre cross over fiction). We will explore how to seamlessly intertwine the gripping tension of a crime or mystery plot with the emotional depth and development of a romantic arc.

Emma Pignatiello wrote her debut romantic suspense novel, Last Shot, because not enough people were being murdered in the romance books she was reading. She lives by the coast in Western Australia near Walyalup (Fremantle) on the land of the Whadjuk Noongar people.
