Dangerous Plants at Mount Tomah
Event description
Tour the bog garden and take home a dangerous plant
Australia is home to many fantastical, weird and wicked plants.
Plants exhibit amazing adaptations to harsh environments – they can deceive pollinators, trap and consume insects, produce defensive chemicals and even strangle one another in a competition for sunlight.
Explore the world of dangerous plants at the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden these school holidays. Join a workshop to create a carnivorous plant habitat, take a guided tour of the garden and learn about incredible adaptations for survival.
