Dare to Lead™ 2.0 - NEW CURRICULUM JUST RELEASED

Over 20,000 people have experienced the Dare to LeadProgram since March 2019. Brené and her team have listened to the feedback of participants and her global team of facilitators and have improved the curriculum to make the program even better than it already was. Come and experience Dare to Lead™ 2.0.

Do you Dare to Lead?

In today’s clutter of leadership definitions, it's hard to distinguish what defines leadership. And tougher still, if we can't define what it is for ourselves, how can we develop as authentic leaders who make a genuine difference, both personally and professionally?

In a recent study by Dr Brene Brown, 150 leaders from organisations around the world where asked what the future of leadership was. The overwhelming response from all these organisations was "the need for more courage." Contrary to what some think, courage is not something you naturally have within you. Courage is teachable, observable, measurable and it starts by letting go of your armour. (self-protection). It is clear that courage becomes part of the definition of leadership.

Learn to be a courageous leader, join certified facilitator Michelle Holland for Dare to Lead

Dare to Lead™ is an interactive courage-building program developed into four skill sets of courageous leadership. Over 2 intensive 8-hour sessions, you will learn and apply:

Rumbling with Vulnerability

Vulnerability is the emotion that we experience during times of uncertainty, risk, emotional exposure. It’s having the courage to show up, fully engage, and be seen when you can’t control the outcome.

Living into your Values

A value is a way of being or believing that we hold most important. Living into your values requires a clear understanding of your core values, having a strong sense of the behaviours that are in alignment with those values, recognizing when your behaviour is out of alignment, and course-correcting as needed.

Braving Trust

Trust is built in small gestures and over time. It is an iterative process between two people or within a team that is based on behaviours in seven specific areas. These areas are captured by the acronym BRAVING (Boundaries, Reliability, Accountability, Vault, Integrity, Nonjudgment, and Generosity).

Learning to Rise

The Learning to Rise process is about getting up from our falls, overcoming our mistakes, and facing setbacks in a way that brings more learning and strength. As tough as it is, the payoff is huge: When we have the courage to walk into our hard experiences of failure and disappointment, and own those stories, we get to write the ending. And when we don’t own our stories of failure, setbacks, and hurt—they own us.

Courageous Leadership is an ongoing journey. In order to support this ongoing journey, you will also receive:

  • Dare to Lead™ Workbook designed to help you navigate through the 4 courageous skill sets and support you as you continue to develop and apply these 4 skills sets
  • Copy of Dare to Lead™  book by Dr Brene Brown
  • Dare to Lead™ Trained Pin & Certificate (only available from certified Dare to LeadÔ facilitators)
  • Dare to Lead™ downloads and templates
  • SynergyIQ Dare to Lead™ online Alumni

We feel fortunate to be able to share these Dare to Lead™ skills to help you pursue a more courageous way of leading self and others.

            FAQs

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There are plenty of parking options around this area (but beware they fill up fast). The public transport options are excellent (tram is nearby). All else fails, there is always Uber.

What can I bring into the event?

You will receive a hardcopy workbook, so please bring a pen. A notebook is also useful to add anything that you don't want included in your workbook. Please no laptops or large tablets on the tables as they distract from the learning experience.

Also, please bring a jacket, cardigan or a wrap as it can get cold in conference rooms.

And most importantly - bring an open heart and a willing spirit... we're choosing courage over comfort in this program.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Any additional questions please contact info@synergyiq.com.au

            What's the refund policy?

Due to the challenges of organising events like these, we are not able offer a full refund once the program is booked. We will provide a 50% refund up to 2 weeks prior to the event. We can also allow you to transfer your ticket to another member of your team, community or family.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, as long as you've booked through Humanitix we'll have a copy of your registration.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can directly transfer to another person - please advise us who will be attending by contacting info@synergyiq.com.au.

Will I be able to run Dare to Lead™ training in my organisation after this training?

You will receive a certificate and a badge that certifies you as Dare to Lead™ Trained. This means you can use this skill set with your teams and colleagues. It does not authorise you to run Dare to Lead™ training for your organisation. Only a Certified DTL™ Facilitator is authorised to conduct this training.

Can you run this program for our whole team or organisation?

Absolutely! We would love to talk to you about how Dare to Lead™ has been the catalyst for many organisations to change the way they work together.  We can run small or large group programs in house. Please contact us on info@synergyiq.com.au and we'll speak to you about the best way of managing your business needs.

            Is there food?

We'll supply coffee/tea, waters and refreshments throughout the day.  In all day events we will supply a simple lunch and will endeavour to cater for dietary requirements where we can. If you have a very strict diet it would be wise to bring your own snacks and food just in case.
