Darebin Resource Recovery Centre Tour 2026
Description
As part of National Recycling Week 2026, join us for a guided tour of the Darebin Resource Recovery Centre and discover how items that can't be placed in household bins, such as e-waste, batteries and vapes, are recycled, reused or safely disposed of.
Explore what happens behind the scenes, learn how valuable resources are recovered from waste, and find out how you can recycle more effectively at home.
After the tour, you are welcome to visit the Recycled Goods Shop to browse pre-loved treasures or donate reusable items in good condition.

10:00 am to 10:45 am (10 places available)
11:15 am to 12:00 pm (10 places available)

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Successful registrants will be notified by email.
Please cancel your booking if you can no longer attend.
Open to Darebin residents and ratepayers only and participants must be aged 18 years or over.
Wear enclosed shoes and full-length clothing.
Please note: Photography is not permitted during the tour, and the tour itinerary may change due to weather conditions.
