Dark Arts
Event description
DARK ARTS
The ways of the world are increasingly obscured by artifice and abstraction. It is only when we take up the wand, we can reveal the powers that be.
Dark Arts celebrates the ways of sharing, caring and gathering that find themselves struggling to find a place in our grand institutions. It channels the bodies of knowledge and the ways of working that work in worlds that are not our own. We offer the space and time for happenings and performances. Join us 3.00pm-12.00am, Thursday November 7, for an experimental program at Melbourne’s night creature institution Miscellania.
1. When can we learn?
Academic Content: Conversations and Talks
2. How do you speak?
Dialogue-based Performances: Spoken word, Javanese dance & dialogue-based DJ mixes
3. How do you dance?

Come learn, connect, listen and then dance! All (18+) welcome, in costume or your usual.
Miscellania has a big flight of stairs that is inaccessible for wheelchair users.
