Daggerheart Mini-Campaign: The Dark Heart of Andaluria

Andaluria is a land of sweeping vineyards where beauty and dread intertwine. By day, the streets and valleys are alive with festivals, music, and the scent of wine—but when the sun sets, monsters come out to feast. For generations, the old superstitions and folk rites kept the beasts at bay, but of late the nights have grown unnaturally long, and the citizens of Andaluria live in fear of increasingly terrifying monsters. In this Daggerheart mini-campaign, you’ll play a band of monster hunters who must investigate horrific crimes, navigate political strife, and slay supernatural creatures to protect the people from eternal darkness. Please note that this is a dark fantasy campaign with elements of horror, so content warnings may include more graphic descriptions of violence, religious persecution, demonic rituals, and a higher chance of character death.

There are six player spots available for adults (ages 18+), and we love to play with people of all experience levels, even if you're brand new to TTRPGs! We will provide everything you need to play, from dice to character sheets, and explain all of the rules as we go. Our first session will be a "Session Zero" where we all meet, review game rules and safety tools, and build our characters together; the following three play sessions will take us through a narrative arc.

The cost for this mini-campaign includes all 4 sessions, each of which runs from 7:00-10:00 p.m. Please ONLY sign up for this mini-campaign if you can make all of the session dates:

Side Quest Books & Games is a woman and queer-owned fantasy shop full of magical books, indie TTRPGs, and nerdy knick-knacks, located in Bow Market, Union Square, Somerville, MA. We will have the entire venue to ourselves for this private event, and you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks to enjoy while we play!
