Join us for Darkness into Sunrise, a powerful community event that symbolises the journey from darkness into light, and supports suicide prevention and mental health awareness. On 10 May 2025, we will walk together, side by side, as the sun rises, raising much-needed funds for headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation.

Why Walk?
This walk is not only about creating awareness — it’s about making a tangible difference. Your donations will go directly to headspace, a vital organization providing early intervention mental health services for young people aged 12-25. Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people across Australia with:

• Mental health support
• Physical health (including sexual health) services
• Alcohol and other drug services
• Work and study support

Headspace operates in 167 communities nationwide, offering services through face-to-face visits, online and phone counselling, vocational services, and even presence in schools. Your support can make a real impact on young lives, providing the resources and care they need to thrive.

• Walk together at Darwin Esplanade at 6am as we head into a brighter future.
• Finish at Bennett Park with a sausage sizzle, coffee, and access to local mental health services.
• Donations will help headspace provide essential services to young people in need.
