Daryl James 'Into/Out of' Album Launch w/Jack Raymond and Dawn
Event description
Join us for a night of Folk/Roots fun, and celebrate the release of the second full-length album by Daryl James - 'Into/Out Of'
Longer than he cares to mention in the making, Daryl is proud to finally offer a whole new body of work, an album in 2 halves. 'Into' offers his more familiar signature gritty blues/roots style, and 'Out Of' reflects his more recent Folk/Roots explorations.
Joined by the awesome Jack Raymond, a native of the Victorian Hills boasts a voice that feels both new and nostalgically familiar. His “mountain roots” sound merges Alt Country with Folk influences, drawing from his varied life experiences. Following successful tours across multiple states his debut album “The Long Story Short” features both catchy and heartfelt tracks. Raymond has graced stages at notable festivals like Agnes Blues & Roots, the Kiama Blues Festival and The Gympie Muster and was a finalist in the Australian Busking Championships, having shared the stage with artists such as Riley Pearce and Hatz Fitz & Cara.
And the mystical Dawn, a bewitching vocalist of Canadian, Irish, and Indian descent. Performing songs from her vast catalog, and tuning into the folk tales of her ancestry, she takes the listener on a journey through time and space, with truly enchanting soundscapes.
