Jim Steager and Nick Franclik are long-time musicians, backup players, and songwriters who used the Covid-era to continue developing their musical skills. Dave, Nick, and Jim will play their music and discuss the opportunity to expand their craft during hard times with the audience. Jim has thirty-five years as a performer, guitar teacher, and community activist with the voice of an angel. Nick is known as a solid and dependable bassist in the Lehigh Valley and has released an album of original songs, with another one in the works. Conversation with the audience is encouraged.

A gifted multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Jim Steager is a seasoned professional, with over 40 years of diverse experience. He creates music on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, and hammered dulcimer and plays smooth jazz and popular songs for fine dining venues, private functions, and concerts.

Jim's recordings include the guitar instrumental album, "Safe Journeys", hailed as a "...mellow, relaxing treat..." (music review).The highly acclaimed "Mine To Keep", a collection of Steager's songwriting skills spanning 30 years and including live concert and studio cuts with friends Steve Kimock, John Morgan Kimock, Pete Caragher, Peter Fritz, Jeff Beck, Wade Leanord, Dan McKinney, and others. As an active Christian and founder of the worship band "Jasper Springs", Jim participates solo or with praise bands in worship settings every chance he gets, leading and speaking at churches and groups upon invitation.

Nick Franclik is a seasoned musician with over 30 years of experience as a sideman and bassist, known for his performances in Eastern Pennsylvania and on national and international tours, along with being the main sound engineer and mixer for Godfrey Daniels. When the Covid-19 pandemic disrupted the music industry, Nick used the downtime to embark on a new musical endeavor. He put down his bass, picked up an acoustic guitar, and began crafting songs daily. This creative journey led to his first solo record, "View From My Spaceship," which transcends various musical genres, from Americana and bluegrass to country and pop.

Nick's transition from being a background musician to a solo artist has invigorated his career, allowing him to connect with audiences in a more personal way. You can catch his engaging performances at various venues, and he continues to contribute his musical talents as the bassist for Jack Murray & The Blue Tarp Wranglers. "View From My Spaceship" is now available on major streaming platforms and can be obtained at his live shows or select record stores. Nick Franclik's journey is a testament to the resilience and creativity of artists during challenging times, and his music is a reflection of the enduring power of the human spirit.
