Day of AI Australia Dolphin Tank 2024
Event description
As part of National Science Week, join Day of AI Australia for our inaugural Dolphin Tank!Â
As part of Day of AI Australia's program in Term 2, primary and high students from across Australia submitted their ideas for how AI could be used to help tackle climate change and sustainability.
Six teams from across Australia were invited to refine their idea together with experts from Rokt and UNSW's AI Institute and School of Computer Science and Engineering. These six finalist teams have been working to improve their idea and develop a prototype of their AI system.Â
Join us on Wednesday 14 August to hear these teams pitch their ideas to a panel of expert judges in the Dolphin Tank 2024. Think Shark Tank, but smarter! And friendlier.
You will also have the opportunity to hear from AI experts and people using AI in cutting edge applications and ways you might not expect... How is AI used in one of the world's fastest solar vehicles? How is it being used to manage wildlife populations?Â
Winners of the Day of AI Australia Student Challenge will also be announced at the Dolphin Tank event.
