Cultural Connects: Day of the Dead Taco Workshop

Join us for a special Day of the Dead celebration with a taco-making workshop featuring a guest chef!  

Castlemaine Community House has teamed up with Lucha Fantastica and El Columpio to bring a hands-on taco and tortilla-making workshop to Castlemaine in celebration of Day of the Dead. 

Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a cherished holiday celebrated in Mexico and other parts of Latin America on November 1 and 2, honoring the lives of those who have passed.

We’ll join in the festivities by making tacos, a beloved Mexican staple dish. In this workshop, you'll learn how to make tortilla wraps from scratch and sample simple, delicious taco fillings. 

This all-ages event is part of the Community House’s Cultural Connects series, which celebrates cuisines and cultures from around the world. Spaces are limited, so don’t miss this unique opportunity!
