Day of the Dead: Tantric Halloween Party
The Invitation
When the veils are thin, will you dare to bring your shadows into the light?
At this powerful threshold of the year, we turn toward remembrance. In the spirit of Día de los Muertos, we honor our ancestors and the wisdom, stories, and energies carried through our lineage. Halloween offers another doorway—to explore the hidden parts of ourselves and give them permission to emerge.
For Tantra Collective, these traditions meet through a shared thread: what we carry can become a doorway to greater consciousness. When we bring our shadows into embodied expression, we can meet the parts of ourselves shaped by our history and lineage, reclaim what is ours, and bring what has been hidden into the light. In this way, shadow becomes not something to overcome, but an invitation toward wholeness.
🎭 Come Dressed as Your Shadow Archetype
This isn’t your average costume party. Rather than pretending to be someone else, come dressed as a part of yourself—an archetype, energy, or hidden face that longs to be seen, expressed, or reclaimed.
Our shadows aren't only the parts we hide; they can also be qualities we suppress, power we give away, or desires we’ve never allowed ourselves to express. Sometimes they emerge in what we do; other times, in what we hold back.
Trickster. Sorceress. Rebel. Hermit. Femme Fatale. Don Juan. Witch. Lover. Or whatever wants to come out and play.
Perhaps your Rebel pushes every boundary—or struggles to say no. Your Lover seeks validation—or hides a longing to be truly seen. Your Ruler needs control—or gives their power away. Your Trickster stirs up mischief—or hides behind the role of the good one who never rocks the boat.
There’s no right or wrong archetype to choose. Follow your curiosity. Play with a side of yourself you rarely express, embody an energy you’re drawn to, and see what surprises you.
Through tantric embodiment, playful connection, and freeform dance, we’ll create space to explore these energies with curiosity, freedom, and joy. We’ll move from guided experiences into an open flow of dance, nourishment, conversation, and connection—leaving plenty of room for the evening to unfold organically.
💀 The Evening
Elana Stern, founder of Tantra Collective, will open the space with tantric embodiment and playful connection games, inviting authenticity, presence, and archetypal expression.
Then we’ll turn up the music for a shadow dance, offering our hidden energies a place to move freely through the body—to embody, express, and celebrate every part of ourselves.
In this open container, there will be plenty of space to mingle, share food, laugh, connect, and simply enjoy being together in the warmth of community.
Last year’s gathering sold out, and we’re keeping this year’s circle intentionally intimate—creating space for genuine connection, playful exploration, and a warm, welcoming container.
What to Expect:
💫 Opening circle & welcome
🎭 Shadow archetype embodiment
🤹 Playful connection games
💃 Shadow dance & ecstatic movement
🥗 Vegan, gluten-free potluck
🔥 Backyard fire circle
🌙 Socializing, mingling & connection
Come as your shadow. Bring your whole self. Dance into the light.
Your Guide

Elana Stern
Elana Stern is a devoted guide in Tantra Yoga, walking the path of love and supporting individuals, couples, and groups in cultivating sacred connection, embodied presence, and lasting transformation. She was drawn to meditation as a teenager, studied Eastern Philosophy and Religion academically, trained with celebrity fitness icons in NYC, and earned Yoga Teacher certifications in both Vinyasa Yoga (Cindy Lee lineage) and Restorative Yoga. Her foundation is further enriched by training in Tibetan Buddhist, Transcendental, Vipassana, Mindfulness, and Sonic Meditation modalities, as well as Pranayama breathwork and Reiki techniques. Her journey expanded through advanced certification with Yoga Chitta—a Black-owned yoga school serving the BIPOC community-where she mentors yoga teacher trainees. After a life-altering kundalini awakening opened the portal to deeper energetic and tantric realms, she became a certified facilitator of Tao Tantra Arts (Mantak Chia and Osho lineages) and a graduate of the International School of Temple Arts (ISTA). With a vision for evolving consciousness in Philadelphia, Elana founded the Tantra Collective—producing monthly offerings for embodied spiritual connection—and ONE LOVE HUB, the city's co-created community for conscious events. With decades of practice in movement, meditation, and energy healing, Elana's teaching bridges the physical and the spiritual. She invites you into a deeper relationship with your body, your breath, your heart, and each other—where love becomes the path home to your divine nature.
Sacred Agreements
This gathering is a sober, barefoot, judgment-free space to move, feel, connect, and embrace all of who we are. Together, we create a space grounded in safety, presence, and collective respect.
We welcome you to this celebration with these sacred agreements:
🍃 Come without agenda
Release expectations and allow the experience to unfold naturally. Arrive open to presence rather than outcome.
💧 Substance-free container
We gather in clarity. Alcohol, recreational substances, and plant medicines are not part of this gathering.
👣 Barefoot in the house
To respect the home and our hosts, please leave shoes at the door.
📵 Phones and cameras aside
This is a sacred present-time space where everyone is invited to be fully seen—and fully free. Pease mindfully limit phone and camera use, and ask for permission from all participants, including those in the background, before taking any photographs or video.
🕺🏻 Move your own dance
There is no right way to move. Honor your body, trust your rhythm, and allow your dance to unfold naturally.
🤫 Let the body speak
Please limit talking in the dance space. Let the music, movement, and presence carry the conversation.
🙏 Consent always
This is a consent-based container. If you wish to dance with someone, offer with presence—a gesture, eye contact, a smile. If they choose not to engage, honor the “no” with grace. A simple bow with hands at heart is a beautiful way to decline or close a dance.
💗 Respect every body
Move with awareness, care, and sensitivity for everyone sharing the mandala. If connection isn't reciprocated, gracefully move on, honoring each person's space as we co-create a field of safety, presence, and belonging.
🌬️ Non-interference
Allow others their own experience without guidance, correction, interpretation, or interruption.
🧘🏽♂️ Self-responsibility
Honor your body, pace yourself, and take space when needed. Stay rooted in your own experience while remaining mindful of the collective.
🤫 Confidentiality & Personal Experience
What is shared within the circle is held in confidence. Speak from your own experience using “I” statements, and refrain from sharing, interpreting, or speaking on behalf of another person’s experience. What is yours to share is yours; what belongs to another remains theirs
🤝 Foster a culture of accountability
If concerns arise, communicate directly and compassionately with those involved whenever appropriate. Rather than gossip, speculation, or rallying others against someone, we encourage honest dialogue, curiosity, and, when needed, facilitated repair.
🛠️ Accountability & repair
When appropriate, facilitated repair may be offered after the event to help address conflict or unintended boundary crossings and restore safety, trust, and integrity within the community.
🛡️ Zero tolerance for harmful behavior
Harassment, discrimination, aggression, non-consensual touch, sexual misconduct, or other harmful behavior will result in immediate removal without refund.
🕊️ Uphold the container
These agreements help create the sanctuary we share together. Anyone unable or unwilling to honor them may be asked to step out of the container or leave the event without refund. Thank you for upholding the integrity of the dance. journey
