Daylong Retreat in Melbourne
Event description
A one-day retreat with Henry Shukman in Melbourne
For the first time ever, Henry will be embarking on a teaching tour across Australia. Known for his warm, restful guidance and deep insight into awakening and Zen practice, Henry will be offering retreats, workshops, and public talks designed to support both beginners and experienced meditators. This special tour is an opportunity to explore meditation in a practical, welcoming way — giving you accessible tools for living with more presence, clarity, and compassion. We’ll be beginning the Australia tour with a one-day retreat in Melbourne on 14th March.
What to expect on a daylong retreat?
Henry will lead guided meditations and offer teachings that combine ancient wisdom, modern understandings of meditation and poetry.
There will be an extended Q&A with Henry where we’ll answer your practice questions. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, there will be the opportunity to connect with others on a similar path, sharing personal experiences and insights with each other.
By immersing in shared stillness, we open to a deeper sense of rest and ease, allowing a more profound connection with our true nature to emerge. Through practice, reflection, and community, retreats support a more wholehearted and awakened way of being.
