Last BIG Working Bee on Mitzvah Day

Dear friends of Days for Girls at NCJW,

We are excited to invite you to our last working bee of 2024, when we will also feature NCJW's breast cancer network, called Tikva V'or, as part of Mitzvah Day.

Tikva V'Or was established by Davina Ash, a cancer survivor as well as a long serving DFG volunteer and promoter.

At our event you will hear about Davina's work to support breast cancer survivors and see the kits she is putting together for new members of the group.

Should you feel so inclined, please feel free to bring and donate any of the following items for Tikva V'or or Days for Girls:

TLC pack for Tikva V'or
- Biotene toothpaste
- Nail polish
- Small toiletry bag
On the day Davina will explain the significance of these items to cancer patients.

DFG kits
- hotel soap 
- face washers (thin and not pale colours) 
- plain cotton undies (no graphics, brand names, any sizes)
