Event description

They call me love, like it's my very own name. You're singing in the kitchen. Wearing my shirt straight from the dryer. You've become my garden escape. I'm so glad we stumbled across each other on that Sunday afternoon.

Welcome to Third Rodeo's Group Social Dating Event - Daytime Lovers. It's date time - an intimate gathering dedicated to exploring love, chemistry and pleasure.

In a city where love is often reduced to swipes and selfies, life threw an unexpected nudge Aubrey's way, coaxing her out of her digital rut and into a sun-soaked soirée. Fed up with the soulless disappointments of dating apps, she sought something real, something tangible. The gathering was intimate, with a table adorned in vibrant native flowers and rays of sunlight streaming through the skyroom, creating an ambiance ripe for connection.

As she scanned the room, her eyes locked onto Bowie, that infallibly handsome yet delicately charming presence she’d met on New Year’s eve. “Hey,” she called, a playful smile brightening her face, “I remember you.” Their smirk was a mix of recognition and surprise, but in a shocking turn of fate, the usually suave Bowie stumbled while trying to slice a piece of brie, flustered and charming all at once.

“Never thought I’d see you so flustered,” Aubrey teased with a glint in her eye, stepping closer, the air crackling between them. In that moment, surrounded by the warmth of flowers and light, the night hinted at delightful possibilities, inviting them both to rewrite the rules of attraction.

Third Rodeo Background

At Third Rodeo, we believe in creating a warm and inviting space for the Lesbian and Queer community to thrive. Our events are designed specifically for individuals in their 20s and up, providing a dedicated environment where you can make meaningful connections.

Our philosophy is simple. We are your Third home.

Whether you come solo or with friends, or if its your First or Third Rodeo, you’ll find our atmosphere relaxed, charming, and just a little bit cheeky! We’re all about bringing people together, and we’re thrilled to have hosted successful events in Naarm/Melbourne, Eora/Sydney, and Meanjin/Brisbane. Many of my own beautiful queer friendships have blossomed from these gatherings, and I can’t wait for you to experience the same.

I know it can be intimidating to show up alone, but trust me—you’re not alone in that feeling. Everyone is here for the same reason: to connect and find their community. You’ll quickly find that our crowd is warm, friendly, and welcoming!

Thank you for supporting our Lesbian/Non-Binary led small business. Your encouragement means the world to us, and I adore each and every one of you. I can’t wait to see you at our next event!

With love,
Jessy
