    Indigenous Weaving Workshops

Logan Central Library & Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre

Weaving is an activity perfectly suited for trauma-informed practices, as the rational mind is kept busy on the particulars of how to weave a basket, allowing the emotional and spiritual aspects to come to the surface for healing and release.

    Youth Respectful Relationships

For 15 - 17 year old First Nations youth (Love Bites)

The overall aims of the programming are to equip young people with the knowledge needed to have respectful relationships, encourage and develop their skills in critical thinking and assist them in being able to problem solve and communicate effectively, to be better able to make the right choices for themselves and their relationships to be free from violence and abuse.
