Deadly Yarns in Nipaluna/Hobart
Description
Come Have a Yarn With Us!
Hosted by an all Aboriginal team from the University of Tasmania:
Emmaleen West (Palawa), Dr Wendy Aitken (Palawa), Professor Jennifer Evans (Dharug) and Professor Sadie Heckenberg (Wiradjuri).
Join us for a series of Deadly Yarns as we travel around Lutruwita/Tasmania to yarn about Aboriginal health, education and cultural safety.
This is your space to have a yarn, share your thoughts, ask questions, and let us know what's important to you and the community.
We're here to listen, learn from community, and work together to strengthen the way future health professionals are taught.
Most importantly, it's about building strong relationships, creating connections, and making sure Aboriginal voices continue to lead the way.
What's included?
Chance to win a $250 Mastercard Lucky Door Prize at each session
Catering
Gifts and merch to take home
Information about studying with the University of Tasmania

We'd love to see you there.
Please note: If you attend a session during the week, you are more than welcome to attend the Community Feed session on Friday evening as well.
