Event description

Be led by our Aboriginal tour guide as we get our zen on and connect to the ancient lands of the Kaurna Peoples. We will begin with a traditional cleansing, before hiking through Cleland Conservation Park. Learn about the traditional uses of some of the plants and animals we'll likely encounter along the way, then stop off to ground and connect ourselves with the universal energy that helps to guide and protect us. Join us for this truly unique experience. Finish up with some native teas and a yarn.

Hike is rated as easy-moderate difficulty.

Meet the SCI guide at the Gate 18 car park on Shurdington Road, Crafers.

Suitable for adults. All attendees require a ticket.

Southern Cultural Immersion (SCI) is a Kaurna owned and operated business striving to promote and nurture reconciliation and cultural respect towards First Nations people within Australia. Working in partnership with government agencies, community organisations, the corporate sector, educators, and individuals, our goal is to create positive outcomes and a shared vision for a reconciled Australia.

We employ majority Aboriginal staff. A percentage of our profits are donated to the Kaurna Meyunna Trust.

Cultural training, community engagement, art and cultural workshops and cultural tours are all fundamental aspects of the broad portfolio of services provided by SCI.
