Deakin Enviro Club - T1 2025 Merchandise

Deakin Enviro Club's summer merchandise drop is here for T1 2025!

This limited run of apparel is available until the 7th of March, so get in quick!

Sustainability statement:

The Deakin Enviro Club has selected as their apparel supplier for this run of merchandise.

We picked EthicalTees for their track record on clothing quality and ethically sourced materials. They are certified B Corp and member of 1% for the planet.

The material bases for the shirt and cap are both sourced from AS Colour. BaptistWorldAid's 2024 Ethical Fashion Guide scored AS Colour within the top 20% of assessed fashion brands, in which they outlined the following guidelines:

• Responsible Purchasing Practices - Above Average
• Payment of A Living Wage - Working On It
• Addressing Gender Inequality - Leading
• Water & Chemical Stewardship - Above Average
• Use of Sustainable Fibres - Above Average
• Circularity - Leading

While we have been diligent in identifying ethical manufacturers, the truth of the matter is that much of the industry is not fully transparent with their impact on both an ethical and environmental nature.

We seek to provide great quality merchandise that is affordable to our members. At the end of the day, we're all students and cost is a significant consideration in any purchase. While more transparent options are available, the cost of production would become unsuitable for a student club. The apparel supplied by these two businesses are an overlap of best-fit for our purposes.
