Current Front Studio Resident Deanne Butterworth presents When it is Finished - a work-in-progress showing.
When it is Finished connects two periods of residency taken one year apart. It reflects upon a period of solo working at DESA Indonesia (April 2024) and material from the current Front Studio Residency at Temperance Hall. These two vastly different places allow for the emergence of a logic over time and a side-by-side display of embodied knowledge. It is both a review of stored material and dance emerging from the present moment.
There will be an installation of screen-based work in Front Studio, followed by a 30-minute performance in the Main Hall.
