Event description
Our Death Cafe for Animal Companions is a community gathering where people come together to discuss death, dying, and related topics in an open and supportive environment. The concept encourages conversations about a subject that is often considered taboo, allowing participants to share their thoughts, fears, and experiences regarding death and grief of beloved pets.
At Death Café - Animal Companions, you can expect:
- Open Discussions: Participants share their thoughts and feelings about death, grief, and loss of beloved pets in a supportive environment.
- Shared Experiences: People often share personal stories about their experiences with loss of their beloved animal companions, which can foster connection and understanding.
- Guided Conversations: We have 2 facilitator to guide discussions or introduce topics related to death and grief, but the format is generally informal and conversational.
- Non-Judgmental Space: Expect a safe, respectful atmosphere where all feelings are valid, and no one is pressured to share more than they're comfortable with.
- Refreshments and Comfort: A comfortable space with tea, coffee and scrumptious vegan desserts
- Resources and Support: Information on grief resources, such as books, websites, or local support groups.
