Death Conversations Cafe
Event description
A conversation about life, death, and everything in between
Join your hosts Kerryn Davey and Deepika Mistry for a meaningful and open conversation at our next Death Conversations Cafe, a safe space to discuss the inevitable subject of death, explore our fears, thoughts, and reflections, and break down the societal taboos surrounding it.
Date: Sunday, 27 April 2025
Time: 2pm - 4pm
Location: Bermagui Men's Shed, 4253 Tathra-Bermagui Road
At our Death Conversations Cafe, there are no formal agendas—just free-flowing conversation. Whether you're curious about what happens when we die, looking for guidance on end-of-life planning, or simply interested in sharing your personal thoughts, all are welcome. This is a space for people from all walks of life to come together, share, listen, and connect in a non-judgmental and supportive environment.
What to Expect:
-
Thought-provoking discussions on death and dying
-
An opportunity to reflect on your own beliefs and experiences
-
A relaxed atmosphere with coffee, tea, and cake
-
A welcoming, confidential environment where you can speak freely
We hope to create an atmosphere where you can ask the tough questions and listen to others’ stories. This is not a grief support group or a therapy session but a unique opportunity to talk openly and honestly about mortality.
